Text Options
Text options allow customers to input custom text when purchasing products on your Shopify store. Perfect for personalization like names, messages, or custom text for products.
Configuration Interface
Basic Settings
- Label: The field name that customers will see (e.g., "Personalization Text")
- Summary: Optional description or help text for the field
- Placeholder: Example text that appears in the field before customer input
- Default Value: Pre-filled text that appears when the field loads
Display Options
- Disabled Preview: Toggle to show/hide the field in preview mode
- Required Field: Make the field mandatory for customers
Product Integration
- Product to Charge: Enable additional pricing for this text option
- Choose Product: Select a specific product to charge when this option is used
- Pricing Display: Shows the selected product and additional cost (e.g., "+$10.00")
Styling Options
- Color Settings: Enable custom color options for the text field
- Font Family: Enable custom font selection
Color Options
When "Enable color" is toggled to "Yes", customers can choose text colors:
- Display Type: Radio buttons (few options) or dropdown (many options)
