Markup Read-only Options

Markup Read-only options allow you to display rich text content to customers on your Shopify product pages in a non-editable format. Perfect for providing detailed descriptions, terms and conditions, special instructions, or any formatted information.

Configuration Interface​

Basic Settings​

  • Label: The field name that customers will see (e.g., "Markup", "Important Notes", "Product Details")
  • Summary: Optional description or help text for the field (multi-line textarea)
  • Required: Make the markup display mandatory for customers

Display Options​

  • Disabled Preview: Toggle to show/hide the field in preview mode
  • Product to Charge: Enable additional pricing for this markup option

Conditional Logic​

  • Visible Condition: Set up conditions for when this markup field should be displayed
  • Add Condition: Button to add new visibility rules

Rich Text Editor​

The markup content is created using a comprehensive rich text editor with the following features:

Text Formatting Tools​

  • Bold (B): Apply bold formatting to selected text
  • Italic (I): Apply italic formatting to selected text
  • Underline (U): Apply underline formatting to selected text
  • Strikethrough (A̶): Apply strikethrough formatting to selected text

Color and Styling​

  • Text Color: Select custom colors for text
  • Background Color: Apply background colors to text
  • Clear Formatting: Remove all formatting from selected text
  • Link: Insert hyperlinks to external or internal pages
  • Unlink: Remove hyperlinks from selected text
  • Quote: Format text as blockquotes for emphasis

Advanced Formatting​

  • Subscript (X₂): Format text as subscript
  • Superscript (X²): Format text as superscript
