Select Options

Select options allow customers to choose from predefined choices when purchasing products on your Shopify store. Perfect for product variants, sizes, colors, or any selection-based customization.

Configuration Interface​

Basic Settings​

  • Label: The field name that customers will see (e.g., "Choose Size", "Select Color")
  • Summary: Optional description or help text for the field
  • Required: Make the selection mandatory for customers

Display Options​

  • Disabled Preview: Toggle to show/hide the field in preview mode
  • Display Type: Choose how options are presented to customers
    • Radio: Options as radio buttons (recommended for few options)
    • Select: Options in a dropdown menu (better for many options)

Conditional Logic​

  • Visible Condition: Set up conditions for when this option should be displayed
  • Add Condition: Button to add new visibility rules

Option Data Configuration​

  • Option Data Type: Choose how to define options
    • Custom: Define your own option choices
    • Predefined Data: Use pre-configured option sets

Managing Options​

  • Add Option: Button to add new options to the list
  • Option List: Manage existing options with:
    • Drag Handle: Three dots icon to reorder options
    • Option Value Field: Left field for the option value
    • Option Label Button: Button to set the display label
    • Link/Tag Icon: Cloud icon for linking or tagging
    • Delete Icon: Red trash icon to remove option

Default Selection​

  • Default Option: Dropdown to set the default selected option
  • Option Preview: Shows currently selected default option

Display Types​

Radio Buttons​

Best for 2-6 choices when customers need to see all options at once.

Best for 7+ choices or when screen space is limited.

Product Variants​

  • Size Selection: S, M, L, XL
  • Color Choices: Red, Blue, Green, Black
  • Material Selection: Cotton, Polyester, Silk

Customization Options​

  • Design Style: Modern, Classic, Vintage
  • Print Location: Front, Back, Sleeve
  • Finishing Options: Matte, Glossy, Embossed
