Configuration Settings

The XB Product Options Editor provides comprehensive configuration settings for each option type. Understanding these settings will help you create effective product customization experiences.

Basic Configuration​

Option Naming​

  • Label: The name customers will see (e.g., "Personalization Text")
  • Summary: Optional description or help text for the field
  • Required: Make the option mandatory for customers

Display Settings​

  • Disabled Preview: Toggle to show/hide the field in preview mode
  • Priority: Set the display order (higher numbers appear first)
  • Product Image Selector: CSS selector to identify product image location

Product Assignment​

  • Choose Products: Select which products will have this option
  • Assignment Types:
    • All: Apply to all products
    • Specific products: Choose individual products
    • Specific collections: Apply to entire collections
    • Specific tags: Apply to products with certain tags
