Date Read-only Options

Date Read-only options display a specific date to customers on your Shopify product pages without allowing them to modify it. Perfect for showing creation dates, expiration dates, or any time-sensitive information.

Configuration Interface​

Basic Settings​

  • Label: The field name that customers will see (e.g., "Date")
  • Summary: Optional description or help text for the field (multi-line textarea)
  • Required: Make the date display mandatory for customers

Display Options​

  • Disabled Preview: Toggle to show/hide the field in preview mode
  • Product to Charge: Enable additional pricing for this date option

Conditional Logic​

  • Visible Condition: Set up conditions for when this date field should be displayed
  • Add Condition: Button to add new visibility rules

Date Configuration​

  • Enable Countdown: Toggle to enable countdown functionality
  • Date: Date input field with calendar icon
    • Calendar Icon: Visual indicator for date selection
    • Date Format: Displays date in YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM format
    • Placeholder: Shows "--/--/--" when no date is selected

Use Cases​

Product Information​

  • Creation Date: Show when a product was created
  • Last Updated: Display the last modification date
  • Release Date: Show product launch or release date
  • Availability Date: Indicate when a product becomes available

Time-sensitive Content​

  • Deadline Display: Show important deadlines
