Group Settings

Groups are the middle-level organizational units in the XB Product Options Editor. They help you organize related options within an area and define how the group will be displayed to customers.

Group Configuration Interface​

  • Back Arrow: Return to the main editor interface
  • Group Name: Shows "Untitled Group" (editable in the Label field below)

Action Buttons​

  • Change Style: Choose from predefined group display styles
  • Add Template: Add templates to the group (templates are created in template management and contain pre-configured option sets)

Basic Settings​

Label​

  • Purpose: Set the display name for this group
  • Default Value: "Untitled Group"
  • Usage: Choose a descriptive name that represents the group of options
  • Examples: "Text Options", "Color Selection", "Upload Files", "Customization"

Summary​

  • Purpose: Optional description or help text for the group
  • Usage: Provide additional context or instructions for customers
  • Examples: "Choose your preferred text style", "Upload your custom design"

Display Controls​

Disabled Accordion​

  • Purpose: Control whether the group displays as an accordion
  • Options:
    • Yes: Group displays as a collapsible accordion
    • No: Group displays as a static section
  • Default: Yes (accordion disabled)

Disabled Header​

  • Purpose: Control whether the group shows a header
  • Options:
    • Yes: Hide the group header
    • No: Show the group header
  • Default: Yes (header disabled)

Interaction Settings​

Drag Threshold​

  • Purpose: Set the sensitivity for drag interactions
  • Description: "The distance in percentage(%) the user must drag before the group is moved"
  • Usage: Higher values require more drag distance to move the group
  • Range: 0-100%

Angle​

  • Purpose: Rotate the group display
  • Unit: Degrees
  • Default: 0deg (no rotation)
  • Usage: Rotate group for creative layouts

Sizing​

X Axis​

  • Purpose: Horizontal position of the group
  • Unit: Pixels (px)
  • Default: 0px
  • Usage: Position group horizontally on the product

Y Axis​

  • Purpose: Vertical position of the group
  • Unit: Pixels (px)
  • Default: 0px
  • Usage: Position group vertically on the product

Width​

  • Purpose: Horizontal size of the group
  • Unit: Pixels (px)
  • Default: 300px
  • Usage: Set the width of the group display area

Height​

  • Purpose: Vertical size of the group
  • Unit: Pixels (px)
  • Default: 300px
  • Usage: Set the height of the group display area

Group Styles​

The "Change Style" feature allows you to choose from predefined display styles

Template System​

The "Add Template" feature allows you to add pre-configured option sets to your group
