How to Import Products and Blogs?

Overview​

The Import feature allows you to easily transfer your existing products and blog posts from your Shopify store into the XB-SyncMaster app.

Import Products​

What is Product Import?​

  • A feature that lets you sync existing products from your Shopify store to XB-SyncMaster
  • Saves time by avoiding manual product creation
  • Maintains all product details including images, variants, and descriptions

How to Import Products​

  1. Go to the Products page
  2. Click the "Import products" button in the top-right corner
  3. Confirm the import action in the popup dialog
  4. Wait for the import process to complete

Products with duplicate handles will not be imported into the app. This helps prevent conflicts and maintain data consistency.

Import Blogs​

What is Blog Import?​

  • Allows you to transfer existing blog posts from Shopify to XB-SyncMaster
  • Preserves blog content, images, and formatting
  • Synchronizes blog metadata and categories

How to Import Blogs​

  1. Navigate to the Blogs section
  2. Select the "Import blogs" option
  3. Review and confirm the import
  4. Allow the system to complete the import process

Important Notes​

  • Import processes may take several minutes depending on the amount of data
  • All imported items will maintain their original data and settings
  • You can perform multiple imports as needed
  • Duplicate items will be handled according to your sync settings

Best Practices​

  • Review your content before importing
  • Ensure stable internet connection during import
  • Import in smaller batches for better management
  • Verify imported content after completion
