Guest Wishlist

Overview​

The Guest Wishlist feature reduces friction by allowing visitors to save products without first creating an account. Wishlist data is stored locally in the user's browser (cookies/local storage).

Usage​

  1. Navigate to features.
  2. Locate Guest Wishlist.
  3. Toggle the switch to Enable.

How it works​

  • Storage: Items are saved in the browser's local storage.
  • Persistence: Items remain until the browser cache is cleared.
  • Syncing: If a guest user logs in, their guest wishlist items can be merged into their account wishlist (depending on configuration).

Since data is stored locally, a guest's wishlist will not appear if they switch devices or browsers unless they log in.
